Pastor Al Weeks has earned a Bachelors and a Masters in Christian Education from North Florida Theological Seminary in Middleburg, FL and a Masters in Divinity from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Currently he is working on a Doctorate in Ministry.
He has worked in variety of jobs from restaurant manager to Home Heath Aid. He has taught in Christian Schools and served as Youth Pastor, Education Pastor, and Senior Pastor. He has led many conferences and preached the gospel on three continents. He has been serving the Lord as a full time minister for over fifteen years. In that time he has seen the Lord give him three amazing sons and one fantastic daughter.
He served in a variety of churches from Florida to New York. He lived and served as a missionary in Belgium for nine years. Currently lives with his family in Alaska where he is in constant wonder of God's magnificent creation and serves as pastor to a wonderful congregation that embodies the local expression of the love of Christ. He loves the Lord and has enjoyed the adventure that God has led him on so far!

A 25-year resident of Alaska, Jason Floyd brings a broad scope of professional, ministerial and life experiences to the First Baptist Kenai ministry team.
Jason has previously served in youth ministries in Valdez and Nome Alaska, and has participated in short-term mission-focused trips to Glasgow Scotland and Gonaives Haiti.
In 1996 Jason met and married his wife and ministry partner Michele de Lancey while a student at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Together over the following 18 years Jason and Michele have grown the Floyd family to include 5 children; Liam, Lindsay, Julia, Vance and Thomas.
Jason has a passion for creating an honest, engaging environment for youth discipleship, spiritual-growth and leadership development. Michele serves to support and complement Jason’s efforts in every aspect of his related ministry objectives.
Jason is a 1995 honors graduate of Nikiski High school, received his Bachelors of Science in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics from Eastern Oregon University in 1999, worked 12 years in the field of social work, and served just under four years as a 4-H and Youth Development Faculty Member with the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
